It's Fall

. . . and this year, the trees seem to have synced up perfectly with the dates. The maple trees around here have turned bright red, gold, and yellow and it's very colorful.

As usual, autumn looks like it will be my favorite season out of the year. Weather to look forward, exciting things to do, projects to be finished, and holidays to be celebrated. Sure, it's busy, yet that's also a good part of the reason why I'm looking forward to the next few months.

What are you looking forward to this season?

*And in case you're wondering, no, that's not a picture I took. But it looks like that here.

I like autumn, but when it actually gets cool. While it's cooler for us here than it was a couple weeks ago, it still hasn't really cooled off. Soon, I hope.

From the Midwest as a child, Fall was my favorite time. Even though we had to rake the leaves (lots and lots of Maple trees), I loved the cool wind, and the crunchy leaves.

I like summer best but early fall is nice, before it gets too cold. Our leaves are all turning here and boy is it pretty.

Fall is my favourite season as well. I love the scents in the air, the coolness, and especially the colours of the trees. I'll have to take some pictures soon! :)

We're heading rapidly toward peak foliage here. Hopefully, we won't get the wash of rain and wind that usually hits just before peak in these parts. Nice to see you back!

Hi, Golden,

Yes, Autumn is a lovely time of year. The leaves here in Chicago are just starting to turn and it;s lovely. WE had a cold snap a few weeks ago but then it warmed up again. Temps plan to drop once more and I think our warm weather will be gone. After last winter I dread another one here, but hopefully Autumn will last a long, long time.

I do miss the leaves in fall. In Arizona it just goes from moderately warm to blazin'.

I've missed your blog! That's a great photo. I think autumn is my favourite, not just for the colours, and the apple picking, but because I can wear cosy stockings and sweaters!

Fall colors are out in full bloom. But now it's getting more wintery outside. I can't wait for spring. It seems so far away.

I love fall so much. Ours never last for more than a few weeks because our winters are so long, but I enjoy the fall we get and try to make the most of it.

I'm stopping by to say hi again as well, after Michelle mentioned you on her blog. :) Didn't realise it had been so long between updates!

Autumn is my favourite time of year. Now all the leaves have gone, grim winter 'hard as iron' has arrived, but has it's own beauty.
