It's happening right now. And if you don't happen to live where the lunar eclipse is visible (why oh why did the sun have to come up today? Okay, just kidding) I've got the live feed at the top of my blog. You can also go HERE to see it.
Sigh. I do wish I could see it in person . . . and it's the last lunar eclipse until 2014.

Never even knew there was going to be an eclipse, hmph missed it.
I missed it. Drat!!!
The moon was preparing yesterday over her - very full, very very very very full! LOL!!
Love it - you lucky lucky lucky people able to see the eclipse in full! Take care
x
I miss all the good stuff :-(
Enjoy!
I don't think we see it here.
I've seen one before.
How cool! Thanks for sharing the link, Eagle! :)
Oh bummer, I missed it.:(
Thanks for the link. Very cool. =D
Missed that one, but I have seen them before and they are always magnificent to watch.
I didn't know about this! Bummer--I got to see the last one at least. It was so cool. :)

That was awesome - thanks for sharing it with us.
Lately, around my neck of the woods, the moon has been huge and so white - I actually pull over and just stare at it...wondering what's up. I know it's just where we are in the rotation of things, but still it is amazing to look at!
Cheers, Jenny
PEARSON REPORT
Pat: Well, there will be another in 2014.
Ann: Aww. :( But there are some good pics of it around!
Old Kitty: It's been very bright here, too!
Sarah: Maybe next time?
Charles: We did't get it here, either. I had to be content with the live feed . . .
Michael: I sort of stumbled out of bed and stared at one for five seconds before falling back to sleep--I've never been able to catch another lunar eclipse in person since then. It's been too cloudy.
Carrie: You're welcome. :)
Emily: That's too bad!
I guess I should have posted about this the day before the eclipse--or at least given some advance notice . . .
RaShelle: Anytime. :)
Inger: I really want to watch one from start to finish someday; I only caught a glimpse of one several years ago, and it's been too cloudy for the rest.
Angela: Lucky! I missed the last one; the weather was bad. Boo.
Jenny: You're very welcome!
I agree. I never grow tired of staring at the sky. :)
I missed it! I live in Calif. and still missed it and was so mad at myself. Darn! Love that photo you posted.
I never do know about these things till it's too late! My fault, of course, but I really do love stuff like this. Thanks for sharing the cool link! :)

I could have seen it if I'd known about it. The sky was clear and I was even up and about when it was occurring here in Los Angeles. But I didn't hear about it until later that day. Sigh.

Tossing It Out
Oh, I missed it. :( I've seen one before, but I'd love to see it again.
I missed it. I was sleeping when it happened. :(
Didn't know about this, and possibly couldn't have seen it. I did capture one on video from some years ago though. I'll have to find it again. It's on a tape somewhere...
I sat up until after midnight to see it here in Oz and I caught just the beginnings of it before clouds obscured my view :(
I've never seen a lunar eclipse,I suppose I'm too sleepy. I caught the last full eclipse here in the uk back in 1999-I think, that was stunning.
i saw only a bit of it ...moon waning off... and then the full moon yesterday night !it was beautiful!!
I missed it. It wasn't on the news, so it must not have been here. The moon has been exceptionally large the last few nights...and almost orange.
I actually did see it :)
Blast. I missed it. Still need to see a solar eclipse. That would be epic! :)
I didn't know either. I missed it. Should've visited your blog sooner!
As I was driving to work today, the moon was full or nearly full in the sky though it was light out. I was mesmerized. Good thing I didn't crash.
LynNerdKelley: Aw, it's too bad you didn't get to see it.
Glad you liked the photo!
Scarlett: You're welcome! :)
Arlee: I'm sorry to hear you didn't find out about it in time!
Medeia: I saw one for a few seconds then fell back to sleep--I've never watched an eclipse from start to finish.
DWei: I've slept through eclipses . . . they happen at all the wrong times for it to be easy to get up for them. :P
C D: Cool that you caught it on tape!
Lynda: I'm sorry to hear about the clouds! It was cloudy for an eclipse I tried to see once--darn weather.
Paul: Must have been. :) Anything to do with the sun, moon, and stars is impressive (I find).
Flying high in the sky: Full moons are amazing!
Sharon: I've never seen an orange moon; just really bright white ones.
Adam: Awesome! :)
David: I know. I want to see a solar eclipse someday, too; and you don't have to get up at a ridiculous hour to see them, either.
Theresa: I think I should have posted about it earlier--or at least before it started.
I love seeing the moon and the sun in the sky at the same time . . .
Definitely a good thing!
I missed it. :( I didn't know anything about it.
I saw it! It was awesome. Will have some pics on my website on Tuesday. :)
Well, I missed it. :) I always miss awesome things like that, though.
I missed it.
My husband got up at 5:30 am, and watched parts of it. Fortunately the sky was clear! Thanks for bringing this lunar event to attention--I saw a full lunar eclipse about 30 years ago.
I didn't know about it.
Dang. I missed that one :(
Thanks for the link - how cool!
Oddly enough I was in a lake in the predawn darkness and saw it, very cool...the lake part is another long story.
Eeeeekkkk!!! I've missed it! Even if I knew about it, I don't think I'd have seen it. It's been raining here! :(
Ciara: That's too bad. :(
M: I'm heading over to your website!
Bethany: Sometimes it feels like I'm always missing out, too. :P
Southpaw: Too bad you didn't get to see it!
Susan: Glad you got clear skies for the event. :)
You're welcome!
Anthony: Maybe come 2014 you'll catch one?
Samantho: Sorry to hear you missed it!
Susan: You're very welcome.
Mark: Will we ever get to know the story? :)
Len: Darn weather.
It's always bad for me whenever I try to see lunar/solar events . . .
I wish I could have seen it too! It was a gorgeous full moon. Sometimes I wish on nights like that, that a blackout would happen for c.15 minutes and I'd get to see some stars, for once.
Deniz: I know! I love seeing the stars--but it seems the moon is either too bright or there are clouds.
Where the hell was I when this eclipse was happening? Also, how did I not know there was an eclipse?!
