Hope you all have a fabulous 2013!
2012 is over and 2013 has begun, believe it or not. Oddly enough, I'm having no trouble accepting that I have to end my dates with "13" instead of "12"; I'm looking forward to the new year, if only because it's a good opportunity for a reboot.
Starting with The Eagle's Aerial Perspective. I've been neglecting blogging since November and NaNoWriMo and didn't really make the effort I could have in December, either. Nothing very drastic is going to happen on this blog other than a few more posts per month (including book reviews, which is something I'd said I'd get back into last year yet did not . . . *cough*). Furthermore, I am going to try commenting on your blogs more often and stop calling return visits to your comments as much as I can do in one day.
As for other goals, I'm still formulating my list of things to get done this year (because I procrastinated at the end of December). I'm going to continue writing, certainly, and probably start working on another project like the Eagle Directory within the next few months--and then there's schoolwork and dance, and also my perennial resolution to finish teaching myself how to juggle. I hope I don't end up accomplishing the least important of the life skills the fastest, but I probably will. LOL.
Got any plans/goals/resolutions for the new year? Anything exciting ahead for you in 2013? Are you finding it hard to let go of 2012, or is it easy?

2012 was so last year!! LOL!!
But seriously!! I wish you all the best for finding and reaching your goals for 2013! Happy happy happy new year! Take care
x
After last year I'm definitely looking for a reboot.
2012 was great, but it's gone - now ready for an even better 2013!
I haven't had a reason to write the date down yet, so... we'll see! I'm embracing the reboot as well, but I'm not in a rush. No resolutions pondered yet except for the Goodreads Challenge (52 books this year).
I always have a hard time remembering to write the new year instead of the past one. Glad I'm not alone!
Learning to juggle? That's pretty cool! I wish I could do that!
Good luck with your new year!
Good luck with the new year! It'll be good to see more posts from you ;)
Sounds like great plans for the new year and your blog! I'll be focusing a lot more on my writing this year, working hard to follow the dream. Happy new year!
I'm very much looking forward to the new year. I hope it brings good things to everyone!
Happy New Year to you too, Golden!
You have excellent goals that I KNOW you will achieve.
ALL the best in 2013, and may you have a very happy and prosperous year!
Happy new year! I'm sure you'll achieve many of your goals, and not just the meaningless ones. :) But hey, a skill is a skill!
I'm looking forward to the new year eagerly because my career is taking a new path!
All the best with yours!
Nas
Hey, juggling is cool. I wish I could manage it (alas, I tried).
I don't have a problem writing the new year's number. For some reason, I backslide 'round about April. That's when I inexplicably find myself writing last year's number. Weird.
I am hoping to submit my second book to my publisher after only a few edits rather than the 14 it too for the first one. Happy New Year!
Happy New year, Eagle! Hope it's a great one for you, and that all your goals and ambitions are fulfilled - including the juggling :-)

I've been a blogger slacker, and I don't even have NaNoWriMo as an excuse.
Happy 2013 to you too. I never make resolutions, and I feel like I'm stuck in so many ways, so I'm making them this time. Be good to myself (which has a sublist) and have more patience.
happy new year! I'm looking forward to 2013.
A happy new year to you!
Glad 2012 is gone, hope a happy 2013 is had at your hall. good luc with the juggling.
Good grief, is it 2013? I'm still trying to remember what happened in 1972 :)
Wishing you well with all your writing projects in this new year. A directory for Eagles. A phone book for birds. I'm kidding :)
Have a peaceful, hopeful 2013.
Gary
Yes indeed, I have big plans for 2013! But thankfully not as big as in past years. Though still sufficiently big, I'd say. :) Good luck with your goals!!
Happy New Year Eagle :)
I'd like to say I'll finally query my novel in 2013, but I've said that before. I still haven't gotten used to writing 2013 either. Good luck with juggling!
Happy new year! I'd really really like to edit more this year.
Juggling, hee hee! I don't think I'd ever be able to manage that!
Happy 2013! I'm looking forward to starting fresh. After I get over this rotten cold!
2012 was a great year for us but I'm equally excited for 2013. The best is yet to come, as they say :-)
I rarely miss the year "by one" once it changes. I will, however, pull totally random years that aren't even similar to the current year out of the blue at times. Aging is grand.
Best wishes for an excellent 2013!
Oh, I kicked 2012 right out the door, took a broom and swept it away. I plan to turn things around in 2013 and have already written one short story today for a festival tomorrow. That's the way I want to come out of the gate. :)
All my best to you for a great year, and if you learn to juggle we want pictures!
Happy 2013...hope you learn juggle and well at that. :)
Happy new year, Eagle! You've got a lot on your plate, as do we all. May we all find time for more blogging and visiting other blogs. It's always a rewarding experience. :D
I'm like you, I'm still trying to confirm my list of things I want to get done this year. I hope to write more, that's for sure.
I think we have to look ahead and embrace 2013!!
Juggling? Mmmm... something different... good luck with that GE.
I've been so busy winding up 2012 that I haven't had time to think what I'd like in 2013. I do write the new year's date on at least 10 of my checks, so I don't forget to change the number.
Have a great 2013!
I love the idea of a reboot too!
I was disappointed in 2012 and hope 2013 is way better. Happy New Year eagle!
Happy New Year! I intend to publish more books. I will get at least 3 out. 4 might be a bit too much. We'll see.
May 2013 be even better than 2012!!
Happy New Year!!
Old Kitty: True!
Thank you very much. :) Happy New Year!
Charles: Same here. 2012 wasn't all bad, but a few less difficult surprises would be nice . . .
Alex: Indeed. :)
Su: Good luck with the challenge! Sounds like you're up for a lot of reading this year.
Krista: I can barely manage two balls on a daily basis and can only do three when I'm doing unexpectedly well . . . we'll have to see where I am at the end of the year!
You too! :)
Beth: Good luck to you as well!
Glad someone's looking forward to them. It will only be a few more here and there; nothing like every day or even every other day.
Heather: Thanks!
After all that you did last year, you must have some amazing plans for 2013. :)
M.J.: Same here!
Michael: Aw, thank you. I wish I had that much confidence . . . so I'd better get going with them!
Same to you!
Summer: Thank you. :)
Nas: That's awesome!
Thanks.
Liz: Interesting. Maybe it has to do with the start of spring or something?
Donna: Good luck with your submission!
Thank you. :)
The writing pad: Thank you very much. I hope you have a great year!
Theresa: Here's to getting back into the blogging swing--for everyone!
Sounds like you have two good goals.
Brian: Thank you! :)
Prerna: Me, too. Though there are a few anxieties, of course.
JeffO: Thanks!
Pat: I'm glad it's over, too.
Thanks. :)
Klahanie: Thank you--and a phone book for birds would be interesting. I imagine the numbers would be different birdcalls!
You too.
Trisha: Big goals are awesome.
Thank you! :)
Yvonne: Maybe this will be the year.
Thanks!
Deniz: I need to do more editing myself; I tend to write things and then let them collect dust in the background while I turn to new shiny ideas. :P
Christine: Thank you!
I hope you're feeling better soon!
Duncan: Now there's a nice thought. :)
Jeff: Well, let's hope 2013 turns out to be so good it replaces the older years and makes you want to write it instead. :)
Same to you!
Tricia: That's great. I want to write more short stories this year; I enjoy them, but I've only finished a few myself.
I'll have to see about pictures . . . but I'll keep your comment in mind. ;)
Rekha: Thank you!
Pk: Thanks.
It is. I missed it in the weeks that I didn't do it much.
Clarissa: Same here!
Michelle: Definitely a good idea. Brooding over the past isn't going to help, that's for sure.
Thank you. :)
Cleemckenzie: I like your strategy! And it helps to get you used to writing the number, too, I'd think.
Happy New Year!
Sangu: Like an old Windows system, I think I'll run much better with a fresh start.
Michael: Me, too.
Happy 2013. :)
Mary: 3 books is a lot to publish in one year! Good luck with your goal.
Lynda: A resounding cheer to that idea.
Thanks!
Isn't the new year a great way to reset and get things going again?
Youngman Brown: I think it is!
Hi GE .. have a great year ahead - your studies are so important - good luck with those, and the dance .. now juggling you could miss out on! But happy practising ...

Hilary: Thank you! :)
