Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May you always have walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire.

-Irish blessing

Hope you're all having a wonderful holiday!

Happy St. Pat's. I like that blessing. The lovely weather helped make this a beautiful day.

Happy St Pat's to you as well. Even though my ancestors were Irish I don't tend to do much on this day. This year I didn't even get a corned beef brisket, but I may have to remedy that and fix one for Monday. I love corned beef.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I had an epic fail on St. Pat's day. My kids woke up looking for candy. Apparently, the teachers had told them a Leprechaun would be visiting. I wish someone would have told me. :(

Thanks for the Irish blessing :-) St Patrick's Day isn't something that's celebrated here in South Africa, but there's no way I could NOT know about it after seeing it mentioned on so many blogs!
