Hey, everyone! This is my 200th post! Thanks for voting on the poll on the side so I could figure out what to do, and the final verdict is . . .

Blog party and caption contest! I want to do a caption contest for some reason, and I'll post pics later.

1. It's summertime! What's your favorite thing about the season?

Plant life! Flowers, trees, etc., they're all green or colorful, unlike winter, which is visually drab.

2. What got you started on Blogger?

Seeing author blogs, and then noticing the followers' blogs. I just decided that it might be fun to start my own.

3. What's the most fun thing that's ever happened to you? (So far.)

I've had a lot of fun moments! Maybe dance recitals; backstage, when everyone's hyped up. I never really got stage fright, so it was a blast for me.

4. Do you like reading? If so, what's your favorite book/genre?

Yes, I like reading! I prefer Fantasy/SF/Adventure books, and one that encompasses all of those is Artemis Fowl. I'm a Fowl fanatic. :P

5. Computers or other type of electronic? (e.g. cell phones, tablets, etc.)

Computers! They can do everything nowadays.

6. Do you like to swim?

Don't know how. Maybe falling into a lake gave me a dislike of getting my face wet . . . ?

7. Concerning music, what do you typically listen to? (If you listen to music.)

Classical, when I do. That, and sometimes jazz music, like Peanuts. (Don't tell me you've never heard the Marsalises play Buggy Ride. LOL.)

8. Cicadas; what do they make you think of?

Hot summers and bright sunshine.

9. Would you bungee-jump, if given the chance? Have you ever?

Maybe! If I could have a good look-see just to be sure that the ropes were totally secure. :P

10. Just out of curiosity, do you follow 100+ blogs?

Yup. 107 blogs so far. :)

11. Why do you blog?

Okay now. Bleah Briann is having a blog parade (as you can see from the title :P) and she's trying to get 100 people to do it. Eesh. So, dear followers, how about pasting these questions to your own post and answering them yourself?

Striped! Polka dots just don't jive with me much. I think they look too silly for me.

Blue. I used to be pink-crazy, but not anymore.

Depends on the season. White's good for summer, bad for winter, black's good for winter, bad for summer.

Shorts! I like being able to stretch and run an generally move unrestricted.

Um, I don't wear either.

Sneakers or Flats?

Sneakers!

Sandels or Flip flops?

Sandals! (what's with the clothing?)

Mathematics! I love math!

Hmmm. Both. Or awards that come with tags. :P

Flashlights! Flames are good occasionally, but with flashlights it's just *flick* instant light!

Books! Unless you're talking about NOVA. Then I might have some trouble deciding.

Neither. How about something that stays in a cage and doesn't run around the house breaking picture frames?

1. Do you have a favorite color? Or do you like several?
All colors are fine with me!
2. Name a random favorite book:

Not really
4. Given these option, you would prefer to:
a) Ride a zipline in South America
b) Go sky diving
c) Surf in Hawaii
d) Climb a mountain
e) Learn how to fly a fighter jet

5. Do you like animals in general?
Yes!
6. If you found yourself in an empty alleyway blocked at both ends by international assasins, what would you do?
a) Unsheath your sword and charge at the people at one end, going, "Yah! Fear me, for I am a swordsman/woman!"
b) Jump up, grab a nearby clothesline, and start scaling the wall via windowsills and other clotheslines
c) Curl up and hope they don't notice you
d) Attack them with fireballs that drain your energy based on how many you throw
e) Scream. Loudly.

7. Science fiction, fantasy, or paranormal genres?
SF or fantasy, most of the time. But if the plot and character are good, I'm game!
8. Movies that make you cry, movies that make you laugh, movies that make you scream in fright, or movies that make you freeze up as the heroic hero battles the enemies?
Laugh/freeze up. I do love a good swordfight . . .
9. Cats, dogs, or skunks?
Skunks. Or a dog, but skunks are soft and can be sweet pets. (They sometimes smell a little after they've been de-stink-ified, but that's all.)

It's long, all right.

Panthers, since they're slinky and very cool. Tigers come after that, and then lions.

Snakes!

Absolutely. :D
15. Do you like Memorial Day as a holiday, or do you treat it as a memorial of the people serving?
I don't really think about it that much (or at least I haven't in the past), but I consider it both.
16. A guy with a purse is ruching towards you and police are chasing after him. You are the only one closest to him before he reaches the exit door, so you
a) Jump out and scream "STOP RIGHT THERE!"

c) Shrink back and hope that the police trained for the Olympics

I've read ALL of them, and give them all a rating of 5+. (Do you know how rare that is for me? :D)

Nope!

Perfect.

Definitely not.
21. What's your opinion of books being turned into movies?
If they keep to the main plot, or protray the characters the way they appear in the book, and the plot's good, then I have nothing against books-to-movies.
22. Italian or Asian cuisine?
Asian, but Italian is good, too.
23. Do you prefer home cooking, home-delivery, or restaurants?
Home cooking. I eat it every night. :)
24. Is exercise something you do a lot? e.g. walking, jogging, running, stretching, jumping, sports.
Yup. Every day.

I don't follow trends. I like what I like when I like it.

Congratulations Cornet Crazie on reaching 550 posts/80 followers! She's having a blog parade, and I am joining in!!!

This is separate, but here are my answers to her questions:

1. Why do you have the blogger name that you have?
Eagles rock!!

2. Do you have any siblings?
Nope. I'm kinda glad of it, too.

3. Coke or Pepsi?
Neither. I only drink water (and the occasional juice) and I hate carbonated drinks.

4. What are your feelings about thunderstorms?
As long as they don't blow out electric circuits, I love thunderstorms!

5. Do you prefer the sound of a trumpet, or the sound of a flute?
Either!

6. Vegan, Vegetarian, Omnivore, or Carnivore?
Omnivore. I usually eat vegetables AND meat for dinner.

7. What is your ideal pet?
One that doesn't need excess cleaning up after, doesn't smell bad, and loves to socialize with me. :)

8. Describe your dream life when you grow up.
Finding new animal species out in the field as a biologist.

9. Pick a color and write a poem about it.
Black, the color of the night
Black, the shade of the shadows
Black, the tone of the endless sleep
(It's not my favorite color, all right? But it's the first one I thought of.)

Compose a song!

Novels! But the occasional graphics aren't so bad either . . .

Laptops! PCs! (Apple is fine; I just prefer Dell.)

Ummm . . . *shifts uncertainly* maybe, if I was really in the need for some adventure. But not right now, I don't think . . .

I guess, once I learn to swim.

15. Which are you more afraid of- Sharks, bears or snakes?
Bears. It's safer to swim with a great white than to eat one due to mercury poisoning, and I like snakes--they're cool!

16. When writing- cursive, print or combination?
All of the above! I love changing my handwriting around at will. :D

I don't watch baseball, and I'm not all that interested in it.

18. Do you wear glasses/contacts?
Neither. I have glasses, but I absolutely despise wearing them.

Not yet. I'm currently at 54.

Classical.

Early in the morning around six when no-one else is awake and it's just me and the sunrise.

Hmm. One food could get kinda boring . . .

4. What's one thing that you get teased about a lot?
I'm not teased so much, since I'm homeschooled

I think I would pick the world in the book series The Looking Glass Wars. Hey, Imagination rocks!!

Computer geek smarts

Thailand. They've got wildlife, interesting culture/people, interesting geography . . .

Dunno. I'm not one for singing much.

If you're talking about a stroll-in-the-door and not the go-online type store, I suppose I'd give that honor to Best Buy. Electronics galore.

The future, when humans are living on distant planets and interacting peacefully with other life forms.
11. If every outfit in your wardrobe had to be one color, what would it be?
Black. It would be helpful in future job interviews.
