Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.
Rules for participating:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser is from The Shadow Project by Herbie Brennan--he's recently become one of my favorite authors, since I love the Faerie Wars Series.
"They're remarkable works," Sir Roland said as they entered the library. "We have volumes dating back to the fifteenth, sixteenth centuries, sometimes even earlier. There's a drawer over there that contains a Roman scroll from the time of Emperor Claudius. And they all have one thing in common--"-p. 75
"They all give you the creeps?" Danny suggested.

Ha ha, love it!
Here's mine:
"They are not here, Your Majesty," Galen said, bowing. He wished he didn't have to explain everything in front of an audience.
"Someone has taken them hostage, sire," the captain blurted out. "This person claims he knows who."

Princess of the Midnight Ball, by Jessica Day George
Ha! Danny sounds like a character I would like. My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/03/teaser-tuesdays-the-beauty-of-humanity-movement.html
Good tease,
It looks like it could be a good read,
I'm in A-Z, too. It is going to be INSANE!
Oh, btw...
Don't forget to HP entry for tomorrow... I'm really looking forward to reading yours.
I hope that you are enjoying your book. Check out my Teaser for Tuesday.
My current read is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein (studying to use for a tutoring lesson).
"And he would gather her leaves,
And make them into crowns to play king of the forest."
Consider it more two sentences that two pages. Great idea!
No reason you couldn't do two entries in one day, is there?
LOL - give the creeps. Great teaser. My teaser is here.
Ooo!!! Love this one!!!
So excited to hear that you're joining in the A-Z fun as a co-host I'm still in shock at the numger of participants that joined!!!!
Sorry I've been distant! I still heart you!!
Going to miss teaser Tuesday. *sigh* Here's mine:
He had cleaned the blood from the the silver stems, though the tarnish remained.
Annalena said, "Sandy was my customer ever since the accident that put her in the wheelchair...what happened to the family--it's too awful to think about."
P.155, What the Night Knows, Dean Koontz
Love it. Hehehe I'm sort of not reading at the moment. (Still stuck in the middle of Oliver Twist, but haven't touched it since the weekend I started with Hunger Games.)
Maybe I'll add something next time. :-)
Your last teaser for a while is a fun one to read.
Ooh, that was a great tease. Sounds like an interesting book. I'm not reading anything at the moment, but my friend just dropped by with a armful of books for me to devour!
Even though I'm not doing the A-Z challenge, I'm excited to read everyone's entries.
Love the title of the book. It by itself is a teaser!
Wow - sounds like an interesting book!
Here's one from mine:
"Maybe she's a reincarnation," he suggested. "It's too big a coincidence, the boat and her name." - pg. 177 of OR Melling's The Summer King
I read this! It was a really fun one! :) Enjoy and thanks for sharing!
Just wanted to say good luck on the A to z challenge. So many folks are participating, which is really great!

Nice teaser! I love book teaser that mention books.
^_^
Thanks for teasing this one. I haven't heard of it. It is now on my list.
It's an impressive library that still has scrolls. :-D I doubt the public can peruse them at will, though...and even if they could, it's not like they could read classical Latin or Greek!
You could still do Teaser Tuesday while doing A to Z if you had a book title that started with the letter of that day. But then again I guess you'd be cross visiting a lot of bloggers not doing A to Z.
Old books and manuscripts can be kind of creepy sometimes.

This sounds soooo good!
Wish I had a teaser to offer up but I'm not reading anything this week.

Aww now I want to know what they all have in common. Great teaser.
Oh, nice! Looks like a fun book.
I heard about the A-Z challenge. Holy catfish, it's huge!
Sounds like a fun read. Here's mine -- Return the Heart by TK Richardson...
My eyes lit up as the rest of them froze. "They're here."
I'm doing to A to Z challenge also. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say.
Love the teaser! I had not heard of the book before. But it sounds like an interesting book.
Sounds like a good one!
