Love the photo. Didn't see the ball drop, we were busy with fireworks. Hope you have a wonderful and Happy New Year.

Thoughts in Progress
Happy New Year! We almost missed the ball, but we were able to see it in the end. Hope you have a fabulous year!
Wow, that is an amazing photo!
Cool photo - and think I'll pass on that ride.
I checked out the link. Some deep thoughts there.
My tummy flipped just looking at the picture but I'd try a ride like that.
Happy New Year!!
Sadly, I didn't watch the ball drop, BUT I was there in spirit :D
Nice pic!
Happy New Year!
Great pictures! I've seen the ball drop from Time Square. It was amazing. I did it in 1996. I hope to do it again one day.
The second picture is just amazing.
Now thats a picture worth writing about!
I love the roller coaster!
Wow!!! No wonder that's your favourite photo - it's amazing!!
Enjoy all the best in the new year :)
Awesome photography! I watched the ball drop in New York City. Although, it was 5:00 A.M., here in Britain.
May you have a most peaceful, positive New year and new decade.
With respect and goodwill, Gary.
Hi,
Awesome pic - I'd be a bystander! ;)
Happy New Year

That is quite spectacular!
HAPPY NEW YEAR :O)
Fabulous picture.
I didn't see the ball drop, but lots of neighbors had fireworks going off.
Have a wonderful 2011.
happy new year! christy
Oh, now THAT'S a cool roller coaster route! I love roller coasters. I don't know what was up with no ball on the station we had on... we watched a countdown, but there were no balls involved *shifty*
Is that a roller coaster? That is sooo cool! I love that.
We're on the west coast, so we did watch the ball drop on tv, but it was the taped version.
Happy new year!
No, didn't watch the ball drop, but it looks really cool. I've been to USA about 20 times, but never been to New York City, unfortunately. It's one of the places I want to visit some time.
That is a neat picture!
Excellent picture.
Yes, I saw the ball drop. Earlier, we were in Boston and saw a parade and fireworks, but we were home hours before the start of the new year.
Happy 2011!
Yes, I saw the ball drop. It's always so exciting every year, even when you're just watching it drop on TV. I can't imagine how much fun it would be to be in New York on New Year's! Happy New Year!
Great pictures! My sisters and I want to wish you a very Happy New Year!
Is that a rollercoaster? Well, it looks awesome, whatever it is:D
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The link doesn't work for me cos I want to know what the steel structure is over this beautiful vista!! Very interesting pic! Thanks for sharing! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Take care
x
That is a really nice picture! I didn't see the ball drop but I've seen it enough times that I doubt anything new happened :) Best wishes for the coming year!
Cool picture! And happy New Year! =)
I love roller coaster rides. This one looks awesome! Have a great New Year!
The roller coaster photo is so cool! That would be some ride.
Kind of saw the ball drop, but we were mostly talking and not paying a whole lot of attention.
Happy New Year!
Lee
That's a pretty cool picture...I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to amusement park rides, though. I think I'll be the one with the camera on the ground while the rest of you go try those twists and turns.
Thanks for participating in the eye candy blogfest. It's been a lot of fun!
so. beautiful.
i love it!
That is a truly awesome pic. No way I'd turn down a ride on that thing. Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year! Looking forward to a new year of your posts!
Sorry late, yes I saw the ball drop and in EST :)
That photo made my stomach flip, it is way cool but I don't do roller coasters.
Jules @ Trying To Get Over The Rainbow
...watched the ball drop, my glass raised in salute. Love the pic...where the hell's that coaster at? Would love to hitch a ride:)
Happy New Year!
EL
Absolutely -- we live in the Mountain Time zone now, but we watch (and celebrate) the new year on Eastern Time. The older I get, the less likely I am to stay up until midnight local time.
Great picture! Happy New Year to you!
I didn't see the ball drop however, I would love to see that roller coaster. Amazing.

Hey, Happy New Year!!! Love the pikkie :)
Rach
Awesome picture. It reminds me of a roller coaster I used to wait in line for when I was younger. It took hours to get into the front car, but was well worth it. Thanks for posting and happy new year!
Cool!
Mason: Glad you like it!
Fireworks are always too noisy for me. :P
You too, Mason!
Emily: Thank you!
It's fun watching it descend, isn't it? :)
February: I'm glad you like it!
Alex: I might just go on it, given the chance. Just for the scenery. :D
Mary: Join me? :)
Amparo: Happy New Year to you too!
It's the thought that counts!
Thanks!
Patricia: Same to you, Patricia!
Wow--that must have been something to see! All those people in one place.
Glad you thought so. :)
Summer: I've never written a story with a roller coaster in it, but I know I could come up with something . . . LOL.
Charity: I'm glad you like it!
Jemi: I love photos like this one--they're exciting, and whimsical, almost.
You too, Jemi!
Gary: It's interesting to see different places ring in the New Year--2011 creeping across the globe!
Thank you so much! I hope you have a wonderful year ahead!
Francine: Thanks!
Rollercoasters can be fun just to watch!
Madeleine: Well, I guess it's obvious I agree. :D
Happy New Year to you too!
Helen: Glad you like it!
No fireworks around here--hope you had fun!
Thanks! Same to you, Helen!
Christy: Happy New Year to you as well! :)
Hart: Can you imagine if they set something like that up?
They didn't show the ball on some of the stations we checked, either; but luckily we found one that showed all of Times Square!
Julie: Glad you like it! :D
Nothing wrong with taped!
You too!
Cold As Heaven: It is cool to watch.
I hope you get to visit NYC sometime!

Happy New Year to you too!
Brian: Thanks!
Happy New Year to you and your sisters! :)
Milli: Yup, it's a rollercoaster!
You too, Milli!
Old Kitty: It doesn't work? Here's the URL:
http://inhabitat.com/the-museum-of-nature-by-ilkka-halso/
Danette: Glad you think so!
Well, not really--except for a guy singing about giving up all your possessions in front of a huge technology ad. :P
Thank you! I hope you have a wonderful 2011!
Amanda: Thanks!
Happy New Year to you too!
Stephen: I've never been on one, actually--I like the picture because of the setting and the colors.
Happy New Year!
Lee: It would definitely be a wild one, if anything!
It was quiet here, so we watched it fall for the last whole minute.
Happy New Year to you as well!
Vicki: I'm not much for amusement parks overall--the atmosphere of them just doesn't appeal to me. :P
Thank you for hosting the blogfest! It's been fun visiting everyone and meeting new people.
Aspiring_x: I'm glad you like it! :)
Pk: You're welcome!
Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well.
The Eagle's Aerial Perspective will be going strong. :D
Jules: No problem--getting around to the blogs can be hard!
There's something special about seeing in EST, rather than in another time zone.
I've never even been one one . . .
Elliot: Cheers to 2011!
I'd be right behind you!
Thanks--and Happy New Year to you too!
