Teaser Tuesday (7)

Another Teaser Tuesday has arrived! This meme is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading and here are the rules for participating:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week is from Morpheus Road: The Light by D.J. MacHale.

"Sydney, this is Britt. She saw Cooper the night he disappeared."

(I shut the book and forgot the page number. Oops!)

What are you teasing us with today? Leave a link so I can see what you're reading!

Don't worry too much about the page number. I don't think it makes that much difference.

The Golden Eagle said...

Jess: Indeed.

Lady Q: I love posting teasers that open up questions--it makes it more likely that people will read the book! :)

Bev Hankins: Anytime.

Alice Audrey: I suppose, but I usually put it up . . . anyway, as long as the readers don't mind.

Deepali: Thank you for following me! :D

I got the chatbox from Cbox.ws--it's a free service and very easy to sign up for.

Escapist: Hope you find it interesting enough to read!

Sun Singer: That's for certain.

E.J. Stevens: :) It's an easy thing to do I suppose . . . finish typing and fwip! Lost page number.

Heather: I enjoyed seeing your teaser!

Kristin: Thanks for coming by here!

Anne: The cover is a little freaky, but I like it that way--I used to hate scary books but I don't all that much anymore. :P

Zia: Thanks!

Hopefully this is a missing-person mystery and not a dead missing person mystery!

Thank you for dropping by! :)
Your teaser makes me curious as to why Cooper disappeared! Hope you enjoy this!

The Golden Eagle said...

Claire: It is a good book.

Carrie: LOL.

JL: :)

Smellincoffee: He thinks it's a missing person, not a dead missing person. It would be nice if he was right.

Precious: At that point in the book, no one really knows exactly why.
